He uses pencil, ink, and felt-tipped pens too, often combining the different mediums to highlight or draw attention to different areas of his artwork. Longtime Adrian resident, Larry Behrends, picks up paper and colored pencils and draws. The program helped Behrends to figure out his style, which he says is similar to comic book art or graphic art.
