A CHEEKY French tourism campaign designed to lure Britons across the Channel during the Olympics has backfired after it used images of a South African beach to represent French ones. He said it was the distinctive rock outcrop in the background of one of the "French" beach pictures that alerted him to the mistake. Unfortunately for them, however, two of the advertising posters feature images of a beach some 5,500 miles away in Cape Town , South Africa.

Tiffany Slater has used the the open space land near 98th Street and Central Avenue for recreation use for more than a year. "Riding over all this trash trying to be careful not to fall in it. Not to pop my tires,&rdquo. Slater said the area is dangerous and she&rsquo. I took a picture and posted it on my Facebook saying. "Last weekend I was riding and it's gotten so worse that, I'm tired of it you know. She said it&rsquo. "This is the land of enchantment, not trashment,&rdquo.
